Offers - tutorial

FAQ and tutorial for how to set up general offers. Offers are a great way to gain new members, and also keep your existing ones with rewarding them for their loyalty. Offers can also be used to promote new products!

Here are the communications we support at the moment: https://leeroy-group.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SKB/pages/856981961

  1. Enter a (internal) name for the offer so you can find it easily later under Campaigns or under Offers.

  2. Choose an existing campaign to add/link the Offer to.
(You need to create a campaign first if you don't have one. What’s a campaign?)

Target group

The target group is your way to select the specific users you like to reach with your communication. You have a lot of choices and possibilities here to target specific customers and behaviors.

  1. Click on the target group you like to reach.

    1. Everyone - Everyone includes mpos and web preorder if you have these. If you select this, go directly to the next heading Settings for the offer.

    2. Verified members - selects all verified app users (also possible to scan in the restaurants to use offer). If you select this go directly to next heading Settings for the offer.

    3. If you select Custom group, go directly to step 2 below.

    4. If you select Business customers, continue to step 3 below.

    5. If you have the loyalty program, you can also select Loyalty level, continue to step 4 below.

  2. Custom group - Here you have the ability to target/direct your communication to a group of customers depending on when or what they have purchased earlier.

    1. Depending on your choice you can see how many people the communication will reach out to.
You can choose one or several target options, pick and mix however you like. Options:

    2. Select one or several days.

    3. Select a period of the day.

    4. Select one product. (E.g. Target all customers who have purchased an “Original”).
Continue to Settings for the offer.

The example above shows a target group of 223 customers who have purchased an Original (burger) at lunchtime on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

      1. Target new customers?

Number of days the communication will be visible after registration in app
This setting is useful if you like to communicate and premiere new customers.
For example: Set up an offer for a long time period (e.g. 6 months) to target all new customers under that period. In the setting “Days” enter “14”. In this way, the customers will have access to the offer the first 14 days after they have been verified as members. If not, leave blank.

  3. Business customers - (if you have this feature) Choose the business customers you like to receive the communication, you can choose more than one. Continue to Settings for the offer.

  4. Loyalty Level - (if you have this feature) Choose the loyalty levels that you like to receive the communication, you can choose more than one. Continue to Settings for the offer.

Settings for the offer

Scheduling

Select the dates for when you want the Offer to start and end. (It won't be visible and show in the app until the start date.) Click the square with dates. A calendar box will pop up. Click on the desired dates.

Limitations

Available on platform
This applies only if you have web preorder, otherwise skip this.
Here you can decide if the offer also should be open to unverified web preorder customers.

Available on days
What days should the offer be valid? You can choose one, some or all days.

Available through dining type
Do you want the offer to apply to both takeaway and eat-in orders? Or should it only work e.g. for customers who order in the app or scans the offer (from the app) at the register but eat in the restaurant?

When does the customer have to pick up their order?
This setting determines what time of the day the offer should be valid. E.g. Lunchtime 11-14.
The customer can make the order at any time (preorder) but not collect the order until the selected pick up time is reached. The customer also needs to set the corresponding pickup time in the app when the order is made to be able to get access to the offer. In this example has the order to be picked up between 11-14 o'clock.

Restrict offer to specific stores
Pick one or more restaurants from the drop-down list if you like an offer only to be valid on those restaurants. All customers with the app can see the offer in the app, but it can only be redeemed at the selected restaurants.

When should the customer have registered in the app to receive the offer?
If you like to target customers who have registered to the app in a certain time e.g. new customers under a specific period, use this setting to specify what date. You can enter either a “from”-date, “to”-date or both. If not, choose Anytime.

Amount of offers that can be redeemed
Have you made a really good offer and want to limit how many offers can be redeemed?
Just click Specified number and enter your desired number in the input field.

Allow offer to be used in the same order more than one time?
If NO is chosen: You will limit the usage of the offer to only one at each purchase.

How many times can a customer redeem the combo offer?
Here you can limit how many times a certain user can use an offer, select once or Specified number and enter that amount of redeems you like your customer to have. E.g. 3 = 3 uses.

For example: If you combine the two settings about limited uses above, you can e.g. set 100 uses, max 1 per user. All app users you have targeted will see this offer but it is the “first come” (först till kvarn) rule that will apply. When a user has used his/hers 1 redeem, the offer will disappear from his/her app but will still be visible for those who have not redeemed the offer. After all 100 uses have been redeemed the offer will disappear from all user's apps.

Can this be combined with other offers?
This setting determines if the offer can be used together with another offer on
