Reports

To extract data from one or more Key figures on a regular basis in a predefined format, you can use Reports. You can create a Report configuration that specified what, where, when and how often to extract data from the Business Insights system into an Excel or other file.

Report configuration

A Report configuration specified what Report type to use for a report, when to generate a report and how often, from what time period to collect the data and what filters to apply to the data. When a Report configuration has been created, a report can be created manually or if specified automatically.

Report types

There are different predefined Report types available in Business Insights. Each report has it’s own specific set of Key figures, filters and output file format.

Generate a report manually

A Report can be generated manually from a Report configuration in the Report configurations view.

Report results

All generated Reports are stored in the Business Insights system and can be accessed in the Report results view in Leeroy Cloud.

Accessing reports

The reports generated by our systems can be in different file formats and can require different applications to access.

The most common file formats are Excel and CSV (Comma Separated Values). These are both spreadsheet formats and can be opened in most spreadsheet applications.
