Overview Product groups

The first view shows the product groups you already have created. If you don't have any added yet this list would be empty.

The list shows the product groups path and structure.
The path is where the product group is living in the hierarchy tree and structure shows which product group is the base group or root.
VAT group is the one connected to the product group.
You can also search for a specific course group by typing in the search field above the list.

VAT groups

To connect a product group to a VAT group it has to be created first.

NOTE! Keep in mind that VAT rates need to match the VAT rates on the accounts at your invoicing provider.

To create a VAT group:

  1. Click the VAT groups tab. This will list any existing VAT groups together with their different vat rates.

  2. Click Create, and a dialog appears for fast creation of a VAT group
VAT rates are added in percentage format. For example 25% VAT are added as "25" or if decimals needed, 12.5%  as "12.5".

  3. To change the groups VAT rates click the dots to the right in the row and select edit. An update dialog appears.

  4. When a vat group is created it can be assigned to a product group that is a root note (has no parent product group)

NOTE! VAT-groups overrides VAT configurations done under Store and accounts.

Creating a product group

  1. Click on Create. This will display a fast create dialog.

  2.  Selecting a parent product group makes it a child that will inherit its parents vat group, which is displayed in the dialog.

  3. Selecting a VAT group disallows selecting a parent group as only root nodes may decide vat group.

  4. Changing a product group will only allow changing vat group and is only available on the root node. It is done with the dots to the right on the row selecting edit.
