POS devices

This handles the configuration of your POS-device(s) that you need to be able to sell products.
Adding your device and getting the codes you need to activate your physical hardware or directly register a E-commerce device.

Under this tab you can see and create your POS-devices

Overview POS devices


The start view presents the POS devices already configured. If you don't have any registered devices yet, the list will be empty.


The list shows the name of the device to be able to easily separate the devices , the id of the POS, its production number and activation and information about the activation process. You can also see if the logical device is for a physical POS hardware or a virtual POS by the E-commerce header in the list.

Edit POS device



A device has some options and you find them by clicking on the three dots on the right.
You can edit a device and you will have the same view as when you create a new device.
You can deactivate a device from this view directly if you need to.

Create new pos device 


You create a new device directly from the overview


Click on the "New POS device" button on the right top corner




Your device must have a name to be able to be used. The name must be unique.
Toggle on the E-commerce if you are creating a logical device for a standalone solution if you are not being provided with a physical POS device from Leeroy.

The create button is disabled and greyed until you have typed a name.


   

After creating your device you will see the overview for it and you are done if you created an E-commerce device. 
If you created a device for a physical device you have some more configurations that needs to be done.

The appearance will be different depending if it's a Swedish organization or not.

If you registered a E-commerce device it will be activated directly and no more configuration is needed for it to work.

Payment types





Mark the payment types you want to have by clicking in the checkboxes besides the options.

Activation 


Under this part, the specification of the device is listed.
You'll have the id for the POS and the production number.


To connect this virtual device to an actual physical hardware you must type in the activation code found here on the physical device when you set up the device.


Swedish configuration


This section covers configuration only needed for Swedish organisations. It will not be visible to any other country.

Greengate

Greengate is a cloud solution for the control unit ("black box") from the Swedish tax agency and this needs to be filled to follow their rules.


The information you have to fill in will be provided from Greengate. 
The timestamp on the bottom right updates on any change that are made.

It's important to save so you don't loose the work you have made.
